Ventilated Façade System

System Description

The cladding material of the SD FAÇADE VENT system provides protection of the façade from precipitation. A ventilated air gap is created between the cladding panels and the insulation boards. Due to air circulation in the gap, the thermal insulation layer is always maintained in a dry state.

Thermal insulation can be installed in either one or two layers:

• single-layer application of THERMOWOOL VENT EXTRA 75 FG;
• two-layer application of THERMOWOOL VENT N 36 + THERMOWOOL VENT EXTRA 75 FG.

Due to the adjustable part of the load-bearing bracket and the special attachment of the load-bearing profile to it, the system compensates for wall irregularities. During system installation, there are no wet processes, so work can be performed regardless of weather conditions (including sub-zero temperatures).

A wide selection of various cladding materials is possible through the use of porcelain stoneware or fiber cement boards, or aluminum composite panels.

Scope of Application

The SD FAÇADE VENT system is approved for use on buildings of all fire resistance ratings and classes of structural and functional fire hazard.
