The plant for manufacturing bitumen and bitumen-polymer roll materials (Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region) was built in 2004. In a record-breaking timeframe of just 9 months, a modern facility was erected on the site of an old production base, and the plant was commissioned in February 2005.
The total investment in the plant’s construction, including production lines, infrastructure investments, auxiliary equipment, and quality control laboratory equipment, amounts to more than 8 million euros. The plant comprises 3 production workshops and a quality control laboratory. The facility’s production area exceeds 4,500 square meters. The plant’s production capacity allows for the manufacture of up to 35 million square meters of products per year.

In February 2018, the facility officially became part of Sweetondale.
The production lines installed at the plant are manufactured by the Italian company Boato International—the latest technology in the production of flexible roofing and waterproofing materials. The technology enables the production of high-quality roofing and waterproofing polymer-bitumen materials applied to polyester and fiberglass bases, meeting the highest international standards. Atactic polypropylene (APP) or styrene-butadiene-styrene rubber (SBS) is used as a polymer additive for bitumen modification.
The Sweetondale plant is a modern full-cycle facility. The production process encompasses all stages—from raw material processing to product packaging. The facility continuously works to expand its product range to meet diverse consumer requirements. In October 2009, the plant successfully obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification.

A modern laboratory has been established at the facility for quality control, which has successfully passed accreditation by UKRSEPRO and received recognition from the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine. В оснащення лабораторії вкладено понад 70 тис євро.
The Sweetondale plant manufactures next-generation roofing coverings and waterproofing materials and is a leading enterprise in Ukraine’s construction industry in terms of volume and quality of its products. Its operations are primarily focused on providing Ukrainian consumers with quality materials at optimal prices and in the required volumes. Thanks to its advantageous geographical location, the plant can supply materials to all regions of Ukraine. The plant’s location allows for optimized delivery times of raw materials to the facility, as well as product delivery to consumers anywhere in the country.
